The applicator needs to be tipped almost vertical for it to work, which is a problem on facial areas! Unless you apply it lying down, of course. The pen are much better for the face.

Thank you for your feedback on the Zanderm Wide Applicator, please note that you can apply the product to your face by squeezing the bottle slightly, alternatively you can use it with the applicator sponge or even a brush. It does not need to be turned upside down.
